Dame Vivienne Westwood didn’t just design the statuette for the biggest night in British music, but was also the choice for many of the stars on the red carpet.
Paloma Faith opted for a black and gold sequinned floor-length dress, accessorised in her usual retro and quirky way with a huge 80s style bow and elbow length gloves.
Nominee Ellie Goulding draped herself in an ethereal ivory number while classical singer Katherine Jenkins chose a slinky emerald green leaf print dress.
And winner of the Critics Choice Award - Jessie J – brought another shade of green to the red carpet, choosing an emerald mini dress accessorised with peep-toe black shoe boots (heels would have looked better) and side-dotted tights. But I loved the ‘heh look at me’ red lips.
