Not content with winning an Oscar in 2001 for her turn in ‘Monster’s Ball’, Halle Berry is now going the whole ‘Sybil’ route once taken by Sally Field – that of playing a woman with multiple personalities.
The difference here? One of those personalities is a racist.
In director Geoffrey ‘Stormbreaker’ Sax’s upcoming ‘Frankie And Alice’, Halle plays a woman who fights her own ‘white racist’ alternative personality. Based on a true story, Halle said the role was a story that “has got to be worth telling”. Berry co-stars with Stellan Skarsgard and Matt Frewer.”We should talk about it, I hope this movie incites people to talk about the issue,” Halle said. “I see homeless people on the street and I think people think they’re just derelicts or drug addicts, but many of them really suffer with real mental issues.”
I guess that explains her wardrobe (below).
